What is Peer Support Services
Our Peer Support Services Program is designed to create an opportunity for individual growth and change. A peer support staff member will meet with you one on one to help provide reliable resources and support along with your treatment team at Willamette Family.
What can I expect from Peer Support Services?
As a client receiving Peer Support Services, you can expect to build a relationship with someone who understands the difficulties experienced during early recovery. Your Peer Support Specialist will meet with you to identify your personal goals, help you develop a realistic plan for accomplishing those goals and walk with you throughout your journey.
Why choose peer support?
- Assistance in reducing barriers to recovery (transportation, basic food, shelter, education, employment and support meetings)
- Support from someone who has had similar experiences
- Information and referrals to additional community resources
How do I access services?
