What can I expect from Peer Support Services?

As a client receiving Peer Support Services, you can expect to build a relationship with someone who understands the difficulties experienced during early recovery. Your Peer Support Specialist will meet with you to identify your personal goals, help you develop a realistic plan for accomplishing those goals and walk with you throughout your journey.

Why choose peer support?

  • Assistance in reducing barriers to recovery (transportation, basic food, shelter, education, employment and support meetings)
  • Support from someone who has had similar experiences
  • Information and referrals to additional community resources
