Detoxification and Sobering Services as a community response for intoxicated individuals or as a first step into treatment: For alcoholics and addicts who need to withdraw safely from alcohol and/or drugs and to achieve an acceptable  level of sobriety in a safe, caring environment.

Sobering Services

The Sobering Station is a 24-hour facility designed as a safe and clean environment in which intoxicated individuals can be housed and monitored until they are capable of leaving in a safe condition. Counseling is available, as well as information on recovery and addiction, and, when appropriate, those admitted to our Sobering Station are offered detoxification services. Referrals to other social services are also made, as needed.

Detoxification Services

Our detoxification unit provides medically monitored detoxification from alcohol and drugs. Medical needs are assessed and  provided by the medical staff. All clients are provided sleeping accommodations and well-balanced meals during their stay. Staff are available for counseling and support 24- hours a day. Initial education regarding addiction and recovery is begun. All clients are provided referrals for services that will assist them in their process of recovery.

Pharmacological Detoxification

Buprenophine is an FDA approved drug that has been proven effective in preventing the need to continue heroin/opiate use and in helping people to withdrawal safely from heroin, opiates and prescription pain medications.
